Program
Australia’s freight transport and logistics industry is in the midst of significant change, with both state and federal governments investing in major intermodal infrastructure projects, and progressing new reforms designed to improve the efficiency of the sector.
Building on the success of the 2011 event, the Australian Logistics Council Forum 2012 will reflect the enormous amount of activity occurring in the sector both today and in the future.
The theme of next year’s event is Positioning Australia in the Global Supply Chain. The foundation of a truly international marketplace is a strong and efficient global supply chain that supports and enhances global economic growth.
Nowhere is this more evident than in our own region, where the emergence of new centres of economic power right on our doorstep has added a new dimension to the way we do business.
The Australian Logistics Forum 2012 will provide a unique look at the range of challenges and opportunities confronting Australia’s freight transport and logistics industry in this age of global commerce, and provide a platform to discuss how Australian businesses can best position themselves in the global supply chain.
